This is the #2217WS Freight Set that Lionel made in 1954. This Set includes the #682 Diecast Steam Turbine with Headlight, Smoke and Magnetraction, the #2046W Streamlined Pennsylvania Whistle Tender, the #6464-175 Silver Rock Island Box Car, the #6356 NYC Cattle Car, the #3562-25 Gray Blue Lettering Operating Barrel Car and the #6417 Pennsylvania N5C Caboose. Our Opinion is that this Set is generally in Mint Condition, no signs of use, minor signs of age. The Original Set Box is firm and complete, and in (8) Condition. The difficult #682 Engine Box and #2046W Tender Box are Very Strong without any repairs and have substantial value by themselves. The Original Individual Boxes are generally from (8) to (9-) Condition, with two exceptions that should be upgraded: the proper #6464-175 Overstamped box is missing flaps on one end and the Caboose box is rough on one end.
