This is the #2507W Freight Set that Lionel made in 1958; a great and scarce single-motor F-3 set. This Set includes the #2242P/C New Haven F-3 AB Diesels with Magnetraction and Horn, the #6424 Flat Car with Two Automobiles, the #6464-425 New Haven Box Car, the #3444 Operating Animated Erie Gondola, the #6468-25 New Haven Double Doors Automobile Box Car, the #6357 Illuminated SP-Type Caboose, Super O Track, Operating Envelope, Billboards, and Paperwork. Our Opinion is that the Set is in Like New Condition, very minor signs of use and age. Top condition rolling stock and bright silver paint with some minor wear to the roofs of the Diesels; it will be extremely difficult to find a better pair of New Haven engines. The Original Set Box is in (9-/8+) Condition, with the Interior Boxes generally in (9/9-) Condition. The New Haven B-Unit Box has the typical added wear, but is far better than most that you will see with all flaps intact; needs re-gluing of side-seam. Also includes the proper Inserts.
