Great Lionel #2289WS 736 Super O 1957 Freight Set/Brick OBs

This is the #2289WS Freight Set that Lionel made in 1957. This was the first Super O Set, and it includes the #736 Diecast Berkshire Steam Engine with Smoke, Headlight and Magnetraction, the #2046W Whistle Tender, the #3361X Operating Log Dump Car, the #6430 Flat Car with Trailers, the #3359-55 Operating Twin-Bin Dump Car, the #3494-275 State of Maine Operating Box Car, the #6427-1 Lionel Lines N5C Caboose, Super-O Track and Paperwork. Our Opinion is that the Set is generally in Like New to Like New Minus Condition, minor signs of use and age. The Original Set Box is in (9/9-) Condition, with the Interior Boxes generally in (9/9-) Condition. The Twin-Bin Dump Car Box is in the Exception, and while it is nice and includes the Insert, the flaps on one end are scotch-taped repaired on the inside. All Original in our Opinion. Please add $40.00 for US-48 Shipping and Insurance.
