These are the #792, 793, 793 and 794 Two-Tone Maroon Streamline Passenger Cars, with three Vestibules, that Lionel made in the late 1930s and early 1940s in the famous Rail Chief Passenger Set that was headed by the Scale #700E NYC Hudson. Our Opinion is that the Set is generally in Excellent to Excellent Minus Condition, very clean red and maroon paint but various small nicks. Straight Bellies. A Very Nice Example that would be welcomed in almost every collection. The Consigner purchased this set as original, and believed it was original, but subsequently began to think that two bellies might be repainted, but they look awfully good to us. No Boxes. Otherwise All Original in our Opinion. Please add $30.00 for US-48 Shipping and Insurance.
