Scarce Lionel #ZW Transformer w/Cleveland Inspection Seal & Special Box

This is the #ZW 275 Watts Transformer that Lionel made in the 1950s. Lionel had to comply with several local electrical codes and as such added special Inspection Seals for several Cities. This particular variation has a Cleveland (Ohio) Inspection Seal placed on its base. This is also not usual in that the Original Box has an added "C" to one end. We have seen less than ten of these boxes in Collections. Our Opinion is that the Transformer is generally in Like New Minus Condition, minor signs of use and age. The Original Box is in (8) Condition, minor water marks, and without Inserts. All Original in our Opinion. Please add $20.00 for US-48 Shipping and Insurance.
