This is one of the RAREST of all Lionel Post-War Engines. This is the #2350 New Haven Electric with Horn and Magnetraciton that Lionel made in the later 1950s. Probably made as a replacement shell in 1958; this is the variation with the Orange and White Stripes painted completely through the side doors. Yellow body mold. Decal Noses, one of which has flaking on the side therefore making this piece difficult to grade. Our Opinion is that it is generally in Very Good Plus to Excellent Minus Condition, a very nice piece other than the portion of the flaking nose decal. With time and effort the problem decal can be replaced with an original from another unit. Only the fourth one of this variation to be offered for sale over the past ten years. No Box. All Original in our Opinion. Please add $25.00 for US-48 Shipping and Insurance. |
