Rare Lionel #6844 Black Missile Carrier w/Frame Rail Extensions

This is the #6844 Black Missile Carrier that Lionel made in 1959/60. This is the rare variation with "studs" or "frame rail extensions" on the bottom edge of the side-frame where "LIONEL" is stamped. Mold #6424-11 with number to the left; referred to in print as a Type VI body. Our Opinion is that it is generally in Like New Condition, minor signs of use and age. No Box.
