Lionel #1060T Tender/Very Rare 1959 Box

Here is an absolute Post-War Lionel RARITY - a #1060T Orange Perforated Tender Box from 1959-60. This lot even includes the Original Excellent Plus/Like New Minus Tender. This is only the THIRD example of this box we have ever seen in all of our years of collecting, and the first we have ever sold. The #1060T box is every bit as RARE as the separate-sale #6352 Ice Car and the #6342 Culvert Gondola Boxes. This example in (9-) Condition, complete with all flaps firmly attached, and with an intact perforation. The only problem is that the coupler protection flap has been torn-away and discarded many years ago. Our information is that the #1060T tender came boxed as a substitute item in one uncataloged set, and was sometimes included with a #237 Scout-type engine in a separate-sale #237LT Master Carton.
