Rare Lionel #2357/6357 on frame Caboose/OS OB

This is the #6357 SP-Type Illuminated Caboose that Lionel made in 1948. This is the Very Scarce early production model of this caboose where Lionel used "old" Tile-Red "2357" Caboose Shells and mounted them on the new "6357" frame and then rubber-stamped "6357" on the underside of the frame. MOST 2357 bodies were either Tuscan or Red and included a smokestack; this model does NOT have a smokestack and is the distinctly different Tile-Red. Our Opinion is that it is generally in Like New Minus Condition, minor signs of use and age. The Correct and Scarce Over-Stamped Box is in (8+) Condition. All Original in our Opinion.
