This is the 027 Gauge #1447WS Work Train that Lionel made in 1949. This Set included the #2020 Steam Turbine Engine with Headlight and Smoke, the #6020W Whistle Tender, the #3461X Operating Log Dump Car, the #6461 Diecast Flat Car with Black Transformer, the #2460 Black Crane Car, the #6419 DL&W Work Caboose, and a #1033 Transformer; the track was removed long ago in order to protect the boxes. Our Opinion is that the Set is generally in Mint Condition, no signs of use, minor signs of age. The Transformer Car has a few minor spots of oxidation on the frame and a truck from age. The Engine has a small nick on the roof from handling. The Set Box is in (8+) Condition, has some minor stains on one-end. The Interior Boxes are generally in (9-) Condition, a proper mix of Early Classic (3-City) and Middle Classic (2-City) Boxes, and include the appropriate Inserts. The near impossible to find #2020 Cardstock Box is collectable. This is a Set that you will unlikely ever have another opportunity to purchase in this Condition. All Original in our Opinion.
